Dr. Avery Herrera, DDS

Dr. Avery Herrera aims at providing a safe and fun dental home for children, while maintaining excellence in dental care. Her goal is to offer every child a nurturing and caring environment so they may grow into healthy adults with no dental anxieties.

Dr. Avery knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry from an early age. In third grade her older sister needed dental work but was scared to go back in to the operator alone, so sat by her sister’s side throughout treatment to comfort her and hold her hand. From that moment, she fell in love with dentistry and decided she wanted to become a dentist.

Dr. Avery received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She received her dental degree from University of Southern California and post-graduate/dental training at the New York University College of Dentistry. 

Dr. Avery has had the opportunity to live in many different parts of the country and has experienced many different perspectives, which helps in her career. With a career in pediatric dentistry, she feels she can establish a positive dental experience from an early age, which can help shape a child's future perception of a dentist.

Outside of work, Dr. Herrera enjoys playing golf, tennis, traveling and trying new restaurants.
